Who we are
Proply provides website publishing, property listing, enquiry management and related tools for real estate professionals, property businesses and other website owners.
For questions or privacy requests, contact us at support@proply.site.
Where this policy applies
This policy applies to the Proply website, dashboard and services. Proply is responsible for account, subscription, platform-security and support information collected directly from its customers.
When someone contacts a customer through a website published with Proply, that customer decides why the enquiry is collected and how it is used. The customer is normally the data controller for that enquiry, while Proply stores and delivers it as a service provider. Visitors should also review the privacy information provided by the website owner.
Information we collect
- Account information, including your name, email address, account type, password hash and profile image.
- Website and business content, including logos, contact details, property information, locations, images and custom-domain settings.
- Enquiries submitted on customer websites, including the visitor’s name, email address or phone number and message.
- Subscription information, such as plan, billing period, payment-provider customer and subscription references, invoice status and renewal dates. Proply does not receive or store full card details.
- Support communications and information you choose to send us.
- Security and technical information, including request logs, device or browser information, timestamps and information needed to prevent abuse.
- Daily website visit totals. Published sites use a short-lived browser marker to avoid counting the same browser repeatedly in one day; Proply does not use this counter to build advertising profiles.
- Affiliate information, including referral codes, privacy-protected click attribution, referred account relationships, commission records, payout references and any custom programme agreement.
- If you use Google sign-in, Google provides an account identifier, email address, name and profile image according to your Google permissions.
How we use information
- Provide, secure and maintain accounts, websites, listings, enquiries, domains and subscriptions.
- Process requested payments and manage renewals, cancellations and billing support.
- Attribute eligible referrals, calculate affiliate commission, prevent referral abuse and maintain payout and accounting records.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service or security information.
- Measure aggregate service use, diagnose faults and improve reliability and usability.
- Prevent fraud, spam, abuse and unauthorized access, and comply with applicable law.
Why we are allowed to process it
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as platform security and service improvement, or act on consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
International transfers
Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use contractual, organizational or other lawful safeguards intended to protect transferred personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet the retention period attached to a plan, resolve disputes, maintain security records and satisfy legal, tax or accounting obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
How we protect information
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process, including access controls, secure session cookies, request validation, rate limits and encrypted network connections where supported. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use a strong unique password and protect access to their email and devices.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or receive portable information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
If your request concerns an enquiry submitted to a customer website, contact that website owner first. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority.
Children
Proply is a business service and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, our providers or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and change its effective date. We will provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
